- Per the EFJ (an MFRR partner), a DDoS attack on 30 Sep and 1 Oct 2026 “overwhelmed the platform’s servers and temporarily disrupted public access”; access was restored on 2 Oct.
- Root cause: DDoS; the EFJ says “the source and motive of the attack remain unknown”.
- No attacker named.
- ECPMF reported the attack to Leipzig police on 6 Oct; per its latest update there was no indication personal data was affected.
