CVE-2026-82641: Keploy 3.1.0-3.6.25 Unauthenticated TLS Key Exposure

Advisory generated from the CVE record, CISA, Exploit Observer and VEDAS: what it is, whether it is exploited, who is affected, and how to fix and detect it.

Generated by VEDAS. Scores as of 2026-11-01 19:19 UTC. Rebuilt every few hours from cve-scores, CISA KEV and vedas-signatures. How this works and its limits.

What it is

Keploy versions 3.1.0 through 3.6.25, fixed in 3.6.26, bind the agent control-plane HTTP server to all interfaces without authentication, exposing endpoints that stream TLS session keys and traffic data. Attackers can access the /agent/pcap/keylog endpoint to retrieve NSS keylog lines and decrypt recorded TLS traffic, or invoke /agent/stop and /agent/storemocks to manipulate recording sessions.

Description quoted from the CVE record (assigned by VulnCheck, published 2026-08-30).

Weakness: Missing Authentication for Critical Function

How it can be exploited

Exploitable over the network with low attack complexity with no special attack requirements needing no privileges and no user interaction. Impact: confidentiality high, integrity low, availability low. CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:L/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N

CISA assessment (SSVC): CISA assesses that a public proof of concept exists. Automatable: yes. Technical impact: partial.

Keploy Agent - Unauthenticated TLS Keylog Disclosure

Keploy versions 3.1.0 through 3.6.25 bind the agent control-plane HTTP server to all interfaces without authentication, exposing endpoints that stream TLS session keys and traffic data. An unauthenticated attacker can request /agent/pcap/keylog to retrieve NSS keylog lines (CLIENT_RANDOM / TRAFFIC_SECRET entries) and decrypt recorded TLS traffic. Fixed in version 3.6.26.

Name and description quoted from the template, written by VEDAS.

The template sends 1 request (GET /agent/pcap/keylog); it decides using dsl matchers. Severity in the template: high. Marked as not yet verified against a live vulnerable target.

Run it against a host you own or are authorised to test:

bash
